    86 350X completed

    Well I put the finishing touches on my X tonight, she's ready to roll! Here are a few pics. I've got a head light cover coming for it too; I’ll probably paint it white. I'd like to get fork guards for it but noticed maier doesn't sell them anymore, anyone know where I could find a set? Or if the maier ones dennis kirk has for honda dirt bikes (with conventional forks) would work?

    Nice 'x" .... I should have mine back together within the next 2 weeks.... Dennis Kirk still sells the Rear Brake guard. I got red fork protectors on Ebay say a year or so ago. Think it was like $35. The left one covers the entire front brake rotor and caliper.

    HONDA still sells OEM tank fins, fork boots, and tank stickers for the 350x. I got all those and new OEM plastics for the back from MR ATC's 400X project bike. I'll keep you all posted... we ought to meet up and go riding some time! I'm just south of Rochester, NY

    350Kris, the vipers are 22's but aren't as big as other 22 inch tires I’ve seen. They came on the trike when I got it.

    Thanks for the compliments guys! I would have to say the only thing that doesn't look like it should is the tank, it's a clarke tank but is starting to turn a little yellow.

    yeah it happens to all the white clarke tanks :? look for a stock tank on ebay, get it painted and it will look as good as new.
