1984 honda 200s power loss

i bought this bike a few weeks ago and it had lots of power when i took it out for the first ride. i replaced the exhaust with a new one (the old one was rotted away to nothing) and i gave it a K&N air filter and a carbkit. i have redone the vales so they seat better and gave it some bear claw mudders... now the bike just doesnt have the "kick and pull" it did before any help is appreciated.

sounds like carb trouble to me,,

the heavier tires could be part of it
