    Auto X is coming along.

About a month ago I bought a 200x frame and a box of engine parts. It was supposed to be complete...it wasn't; so, I bought a good running 185 and started the conversion. I must say most of my time was spent on modifying the brake pedal. That was waaay harder than I anticipated. I'm waiting on a chain and sprockets and one foot-peg and it will be time to ride!Click image for larger version.

But good job, your almost there. And they're really fun. Talk about a cush trail rig, they're plumb comfortable. I just put a 185 in my daughters opposed to the 200. Alot of the effort is working with the tools and parts right in front of ya, you did good working through it. So many threads, and the brake pedal can be done about 3-4 different ways depending on the tools at hand. 1st 3 pictures with my daughters and the 200, and last with the 185 (white fendered X).

I think that i read in another thread that you can use the 350x break pedal. Just letting you know if you ever decide to change it.

Looks great. Making me want to make an AUTO -X.

I made a spacer and used a long graded 10mm bolt with the 200s/185s pedal. It works just fine.

Yeah, that was my thread... a 350x brake is a bolt on deal... bend the pedal out a bit and you're done.

Yeah, If I had it to do over I'd use the 350x pedal. It just sounded so easy; although, I was working without my torch. In hind-sight, I might have prefered lengthening the original pedal somehow. But I'm almost done now, and everything else has been super easy. I even used the rear grab rail from the 185. I just cut about an inch out of the middle, welded it back together and added a couple of mounting holes.
