I as well DC. Then I moved. The new mail carrier is very inconsistent. Doesn't pick up my mail even clipped to the outside of the box! When I say hello he nods and keeps walking. Never had trouble with ups or fed ex but multiple problems with USPS, only on large packages. Last one was a complete tire, hub, rotor, axel, rim. Anything that has not come by letter carrier has been a pain.

Well being in Canada, USPS is usually the cheapest. Takes a little longer, some items get roughed up along the way but it's the best experience for me so far. Everyone else seems to get me charges from customs and brokerages fees. Personally I am gonna keep using USPS.

ok George Bush! did you fully read the f*****ing post! i have family/friends that work in the usps. I do not want to see more people job less in fact i'm stating they are under staffed. The "other" sources of shipping are more RELIABLE!!!!! is what i am saying. There is one thing that truly makes my blood boil and it's IGNORANCE!!!! i am not anti-patriotic by any means!!!! I also want to see this country not fall into the dumps........ If you're so foolish as to think my post will cause the failure of the USPS, that would have happened when they lost federal funding over a decade ago! I was just stating a warning as an opinion! Do you know opinion? its like an a**hole we all have one and they all stink!!! Do as you please: as i'm sure this will not be my last package i receive from the usps! but then again you probably work there and know where my Tri-Z complete front wheel set up is!!! in your garage!!!! Sorry if i stepped over the line here fellas......... but also read the bottom of my post ***EDITED***

Apparently he likes to post these kind of off the wall posts. He posted in the Clarke tank post about supporting poor quality companies because they make 3 wheeler parts. My point in situations like this are that if you aren't willing to do a good job at the job you do, someone who does would gladly take the market share.

I ordered a lift kit for a jeep Cherokee that had add-a-leafs for the back and ups delivered me an empty box with a small maybe 3x3 hole in one end that was supposed to have the springs in it and weigh 25lbs.

no matter what company it is, what they make, who owns its, what state there from or what country there from, there are going to be mistakes nothing or nobody is poerfect. its a chance any body takes with with anything they do there is always some sort of risk, just my 2 cents.

My .02. Been in business 21 years. I am amazed that a 1st class stamp gets a letter across the country ! However,I ,nore anyone I know has EVER got a cent back from the PO. I've started down this road before, but didn't go longwinded. My nephew builds World class "scratch built" farm equipment toys and pullers. So,everything he shipped out ,comes back smashed the first few months in business,,so,he's buying the insurance, and they're claiming bad packaging. He starts videoing the process, wire tying the piece solid to a piece of cardboard and foam, packed w peanuts, wrapped w fresh new bubble wrap, size appropriate boxes, foam, paper, etc,,you could drop these things off a roof,,literally! And they were being broken, never a dime ever collected on insurance. Anyhow,,my best one. 98,99? When they had just raised the price of a stamp, they had also revamped their oversize rules. Unbenounced to me or my local PO lady. I ship a set of 89 Foreman blue plastics to Mississippi. My customer is STANDING at the counter,In Mississippi, the clerk there calls me,says I owe $102,because they are OS. I said,no problem, charge the lady at the local PO here that took my money to ship these,I already payed. She said,No,I need the money,or your customer cannot have these. I said, look, hand the package to him,the lady here obviously wasn't aware of the changes,,water under the bridge. Long story short,,They sent him home, empty handed, and SHIPPED THEM CLEAR BACK ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO ME!! That was MY end of using them . Sorry to those that work there,,that was a little too big for me to forget!

At least I always interrupt them with "nothing liquid, fragile, perishable or potentially hazardous"

    It's usually true
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country

    ^^^ lol. That's a shitty worker!

Anyway. I agree with the fact that it comes down to simply the workers. Any company can have worthless workers that just don't care. I use USPS every time I can. I have never had a problem and they r FAR cheaper then FedEx or UPS. But I agree their tracking set up sucks more then all Dysons combined.
