300EX Swingarm on a 85' 200x ?

I have been trying to come up with a way to eliminate the chain adjusting system at the swingarm bolt and relocate to the bearing carrier like modern quads. I thought some how using a block setup at the pivot bolt with no adjustment and use the 300ex swingarm. Thoughts.....? Thanks

man that would be sweet i wander if the over all lenght of the swing arm would be right (or how much longer it would be) let me know if you find somthing out

it has been done before...but it takes alot of machine work and you will have to run a wider hub on one side to equal it out.
