    smoking after sitting a year

    so heres the first oil change i did it smoked white like crazy

    then i dumped the oil put another in and its lightly smoking best vid i got lol sorry had to play with it a bit

    should i pound her a little before i rebuild or get straight to er?

    Dirt, light rust, sticky rings, sticky carbed up valves would be my guess. Sitting is hard on them but alot of times a slight tear down and clean up is all that is required.

    btw i did clean out the carb really well and the gas tank also replaced the gas lines etc it wouldnt have started without that :P

    if it wasent smoking before it sat it should stop smoking after you ride it for a bit its problely the oil that was in the head when you parked it leaking thru over time

    that is about one tenth as bad as mine was, if it was my bike you wouldnt have been able to see the houses across the street from smoke ... for a week!!!!!

    Agreed, I would ride it as is for the time being and see if it gets better or worse, if worse give it a fresh top end including valve seals. Its not that bad though (its better than blue smoke) so run it for the summer and maybe give it some TLC come fall if its still smoking.

    that kids my young one, hes obsessed with dirtbikes, atvs and since he seen this 3 wheelers! he wants to go on it all the time cause i use to take him on my 4x4 but he doesnt understand that doubling on a 3 wheeler is different >_<
