    silver lake last weekend in april(weather permitting)

    collar bone has healed up nicely and i am planning a weekend at silver lake april 29th through may 1st hopefully i can meet a few of you out there

    I may try to get out there also. I have already been there opening day on my 200x and it was a blast. I would be bringing the 350x now that the sand is starting to get softer and I need the power. Maybe I will see everyone out there

    well apparently I am destined not to make a dune trip this year,the guy i was going with flipped his bike last weekend and hurt his kneeso we are postponing the tri for a couple weeks....didnt reallly matter looks like the weather is gonna be crap anyway,i like to play in nice dry sand not the hard wet stuff that hurts when i make a mistake that puts me over the bars

    Ok. I am REALLY looking into going there. I want to ride dunes so badly. A built quadzilla, built odyssey 350, and a TPC 450R soon. How can I not hit dunes....... But I just read about silver lake on their site and it says all sorts of noise regulation. So like u can only have stock exhaust. Help me out here, r they strict about it?? Do they actually decibel test everyone????

    i have never been tested for decibles,and they only look at the spark arrestor when 1st entering the dunes,and i usually just take them off once im in,i have found that my machines dont run near as well with them on,unless it is a specifically desighned muffler with it built in like the FMF turbine core.i say go for it,if your questioning sound testing just throw the machines in the back of a pickup and drive out on the dunes with a "dune ready pass"they dont even hear them run that way
