    Pics of my $100 1984 200X

I finally found my camera cord. Here are the pics of the 84 200X I bought a couple of weeks ago. It had the top end off of it. I had a piston, rings, and top end kit that I bought off of 3ww member pcs. It was missing muffler, grab bar, and brake caliper was badly botched up. It had WORN OUT 's on it that would only hold air for about 15 minutes. I bought new tires for it today. Got a brake caliper and exhaust system on the way. I took the grab bar off of my 85 to use for now. I also have to put in a new clutch, and rear axle bearings when they arrive they are ordered. Total investment $300 What do ya think?

It runs pretty good. I got a bruise right above my heel from the starter kicking back and tossing my foot into the foot peg. I have got to get the new clutch in it. I cant even pull a wheelie on it. If you are in 5th gear and punch it it just makes more noise, but doesnt go faster. LOL

Great find. Not sure how you are standing when you kick start, but I stand on the ground on the right side of the trike, facing rearwards and kick with my right foot, toes pointing rearward. A lot less chance of smashing your shins.

I was standing on the bike like I was riding it. I had to limp around and do it the way you described so I could get home. The boots I was wearing didnt have much of a heel on them and I think the kicker slipped out from under them. I am not used to kicking forward.

I invested in some motocross boots. I had a couple of "incidents" and vowed never again.

I've got the entire geometry figured out so I know where to put my foot... Had my Tecate kick back on me... Limped for weeks... Doesn't feel good at all...

Looks like a nice find. Bit of polish and it'll look like new.

Once you get one, you just can't live without one. GREAT all around machine for trails, jumps, dunes (okay, not the most powerful toy for the dunes..) or just having fun in the yard.
