so far on the big red.

This is how it came out of the barn. It had sat for 20 years like this on a pallet.

    Cost me 150.00

had to swap tires, change all fluids and grease it up, change fuel lines and air filter. but here it is now after being told its junk and would need a new engine.
(I have only had it 7 days, and the things listed above are all I have changed.)

First start up and 30 minute very easy test ride.

changed oil and gear oil and a fresh plug to be safe after 20 years of sitting in a barn.
I gave it a little workout.

I am not restoring this at this time, just kinda putting it back together to enjoy it until fall when I will tear it apart and restore it some.

There's nothing I love more than bringing something back to life that was headed for the trash pile.

if the front forks are decent, make sure the first thing you buy is new fork boots...once the chrome is flaked off the front end turns to junk.
