got a pretty clean 86 250r today!

Friend of my dads needs some work done and recently bought a house with the 250r at it. I think it was his brothers and he didn't want it.

after trying to sell it on ebay and having 2 people back out last minute, he got frustrated and made us a deal since he knew we are 3 wheeler guys.

he wanted 300 cash and 300 dollars worth of labor on his quads.

so basically 300 bucks.

needs a piston (no piston inside, he put the top end on from transport) but everything else is said to be in great shape.
needs this and that, but we are happy

yet another 3 wheeler we had no plan on buying but instead found us.

Wow I never have luck like that!!! Awesome deal man! You have to ditch those fork boots and that hacked up front fender! It is going to look very nice when you get it all cleaned up keep us posted

i guess he had people offer him 1200 bucks on ebay, but then backed out because they wanted it shipped.
one even offered 1500 shipped.

so 300 bucks is a pretty good deal then, i didn't even realize.
never been much of a 250r guy. my heart will always be with the hardtails.
