If they are greasy, you can use oven cleaner+power washer. Just make sure you oil all the joints right after washing. Then maybe ride it around for 5-10minutes. Nice and slow so you don't get dirt stuck back to it after washing.

There are TONS of mods for the 110 from what i've been reading. I'm sure someone will chime in with info about cams crank, bores, ect.

For a rusted tank, there a few things you can do. Fill the inside with muriatic acid or white vinegar, this will help remove the rust. Do this outside!!. Then coat the inside With JB Weld mixed with acetone. Use 5 teaspoons of acetone per 1 tube of JBweld. Use the regular JBweld. Pour the mixture in, tilt the tank until it's covered. Youll want to make sure you get all the cracks and corners covered. This will take 2-4 to dry, It doesn't hurt to repeat the process. To get a nice thick coating.

Tested this method on my 200m, been 3 months and no leaks. JBweld is still solid.

Or you can buy an aftermarket plastic tank. I did, and they still look pretty good.

As far as mods go, the skies the limit. Exhausts, carbs, piston kits, stroker cranks, ect. But really if you're going to hot rod the engine, it had better be for flat track racing, because honestly there isn't a point in doing so much on a modest hard tail... OR you could find one of the expensive and rare aftermarket suspension frames... At that point it'd probably be better to get a 200X or 250R...
