How long did u bleed it for??????

I re-did my front brakes and bled them for over an hour! No joke. Myself and my friends could not get it to finally work. Then all the sudden it started building pressure and works great now.

We thought the same thing and thought something was wrong at every corner. We took the line off and air pressured it to make sure it wasn't clogged or cracked. I took apart the master cylinder and the little rubber seals in the bottom. Also cleaned the surfaces of the master/resevoir to make sure it wasn't sucking air. We shook and tapped the line as we did it. Also blew through the union bolts and put new washers on them. It went on so long and I went through so much brake fluid that all my friends eventually left and went home and I kept at it and it finally worked.

Not sure y it took soooo long. I have never seen it happen like that before but it's good now.

You must first bleed the master cylinder,(just in case it cavitated)...you can do this by cracking the banjo bolt at the top of the hose.Use the same method as bleeding a caliper. Stay with it,some can be very stubborn...

i bleed it for a while , not an hour though, went through like a bottle of fluid twice. ive cracked the banjo bolt at master and fluid comes out when i squeeze the lever, but down at the bleeder it just seems like there air getting in form somewhere, but theres no leaks. ill keep on trying but any more suggestions would be helpfull.

I always vacuum bleed, then finish with a pressure bleed. These systems are so small that a little air will ruin your day.

I use a large veterinarian syringe with a foot long 3/16 hose. I force the fluid through the bleeder and up into the master. Then I pump it a few times, keep it full and suck the air bubbles back out while pumping the pedal or pulling the lever. You have to pull on the syringe as you do this and keep the master full. Takes less than 5 minutes, everytime.....

I do the same thing DC does but with an old oil pump can. I have a hose connected to the snout of the can with a little hose clamp - works like a champ when filling from the bottom

SUCCESS!! Finaly got the front brake working. I had been vaccum bleeding it and it wasnt losing preassure but it wasnt keeping a steady flow. So while it was sucking i hit the lever. As soon as i did that the res level droped like crazy, got steady flow, then preassure. I had to hit the lever a couple of more times as we vaccum bleed it while i got the air out of the line. It works fine now though
