What special tools will I need to rebuild my '85 200X?

Do I [U]need[U] a clutch puller tool? What other "specialty" tools might I need? Also, what are you guys soaking/cleaning parts in?

Clutch puller, Case splitter, Crank remover/installer, Impact screw driver, Impact driver, Rubber mallet,

Measuring crap:Calipers, Dial bore gauge, Feeler gauge

Do not tap the threads of anything, like the crank or transmission main shaft. If you need to do that, put a nut on the shaft to protect the threads. Otherwise you will mushroom them out and that part is done for.

Case splitter? Not familiar with that one. Will I even need to split the case (I'm assuming tranny) if it's functioning well? I understand there's a kickstarter spring I want to address during the rebuild. Anything else I should be looking for, transmission wise?

If your messing with the tranny or crank, you'll need to split it. If it's the clutches or kick start, you should only need to take the clutch cover off.
