    KLT 200 project bike

I finnaly decided to do more than just make my trike run i want it to look good now. I started fiddling last night and took some of the dorky looney toons stickers off the fenders and the plastic underneath is not looking good its not smooth anymore the fenders have a textured finish under all the paint( some one paited all of it dark aqua green ) and theres a lot of little stress cracks around the mounts because of how thin the plastic is
so what do you guys think i should do?

    plastic

when your plastic gets old it gets brittle. I just bought new plastic for my R and i had a pretty good wreck where the machine rolled a few times the rear fender bent actually touched the wheel and didnt break. only a few scuffs. bottom line- if your going to keep this machine and want it to look good get the new plastic.

    plastic

Aint you special. mabey your plastic has been kept out of the sun trike kid? your plastic WILL get brittle if its not kept out of the sun and you said they had stress cracks in them and had texture to them telling me they are brittle and will mabey touch the tire if your tires are over inflated and setting an inch or so off your fender anyway. paint them
