Bonanza Lake (near American Falls)
I went riding this past weekend near American Falls. I was the only three wheeler there but had a blast. The main part is a sand filled canyon, but there are a few additional bowls west of there. There were a few mile of double track as well. I blew out my front forks slamming around the dunes. The dirt bike riders were impressed with my ability to keep up at a higher pace (though the KTM 300 could sneeze on the throttle and be gone when desired). One guy was even more impressed when he took a spin at lunch time. "It is like you are constantly out of control." I said you don’t ride a three wheeler, you survive them. I will definitely head back there in the future. I would say it is about the size of Weiser north of Boise, but a little nicer. The experience has given me an itch to pick up an 85-86 250r so I can climb where the smaller bikes (worked over CRF230) could go.
