    350x wheelie

    hey guys,

went riding this past weekend and it was awesome. my brother and i went riding in pa. it was great. the trail had a circular track, trail/forest riding, and also a straight away dirt road. lots of rocks on the straight aways though.

i tried to go prepared, but we still ended up breaking stuff that we didnt have parts for. my brother ended up tipping the 250r and busting the clutch lever. i have spare levers, but left them home. he ended up jamming the clutch lever in, and wrapping a load of electric tape around it. it held up for the rest of the weekend.

towards the end of the weekend my exhaust silencer was hanging. somehow the bolt popped out. at least it was the end of the weekend. i zip tied it up and trailered the bikes home.

    check out the wheelie.

    thanks,
    mark

Sweet pic! This pic was from a couple years ago.... I did a dime donut and then 'wheelied' out of it starring down the camera.... that's why the rear shock is compressed...

the second pic I was power sliding .... see the wheels cutting loose and the front end coming up nearly at the same time! I LOVE my x! You all will barely recognize her....

The 3rd pic is how she looks right now in the 'mad scientists' shop!!! I just got my front bearings swapped... will bolt back together soon with just the Speedometer. Can't wait to get the Speedo and Tachometer together in that CB400 dash! Larger project than I anticipated... good winter project! .... The parts you do not see in the pic, are the fork protectors (red), chrome headlight guard, front fender stabilizer, rear brake guard, and the CB400 dash. I was going to get a '86 seat, but I like my original seat with the 350X on it.
