I live in Coffeyville, KS. We ride here on my 2.5 acres but besides that I need to find a place to ride as well. Do you live in Wichita or are you closer to southeast kansas?

Im in wichita, the only place i have to ride is in arkansas. Which is where we are pulling the three wheeler to this weekend, its about 40acres of trails at my grandparents house. My neighbor said she may know a place right out of town where i may be able to ride, if it goes through im sure I could get permission for a fellow 3ww member to ride. I just didn't know if there were any public trails around here that atvs could go on.

I'm in Wichita also, I hear there is over 3miles of trails along the river in Hutchinson that is all sand. I'm also told there is trails in clear water.

Now in Wichita.. Where i usually ride. Right at 50th street south and Seneca. behind the neighborhood, there is a few acres with of trails. Go east of 50th s until you see the dead end. turn north and follow that around. You'll come to a culdesac and see a dirt path leading up to a place to park/unload. Get your toys and head up the hill and away you go. If you cross the rail road tracks you can find another set of nice trails, but if you get caught say good by to the toys.

Heres a Google pic, its outdated some - a few houses around there now, so try not to be to noisy :-p Look for me on my YT!

Should be able to ride on the river in Great Bend. If the river is down (which I assume it isn't right now) there are several (10+) miles of trails. There was a paved entry area. It's around the south side of Stone Lake on the south side of Great Bend. You can also ride out west of town near Radium, but I think you have to get a membership now to ride there.

I've never been on it, but I've seen people riding on the river just north of Concordia. You can pull off I-135 just north of the river on the west side of the road (there's a parking area).

I've been on the river in Hutch. There are trails and a couple spots for drag racing. It's around the southern side of Hutch, there is a parking area and a rock covered entry area.

There's a track west of Salina just off I-70 that is supposed to have some open riding areas but I've never been so I don't know for sure.

Keep in mind that in most of Kansas it is legal to ride on roads in the country as long as they are not highways, and I've been told a few cities allow it. You might want to check into this in your area. We do some 'county cruising' every once in a while bombing down dirt roads between people's houses we know.
