My buddy and I decided to take the trikes out last Friday at the Great Salt Lake.
There are some pretty simple but fun trails for ATV's out there including a ride to The "Spiral Jetty".
The Spiral Jetty is a land art piece that jets some 1,500 feet into the Salt Lake and spirals into nowhere. It was built in the 70's by a local land artist, then disappeared under water for 3 decades and only resurfaced for a year. Now its back but our winter snowfall is melting and its quickly disappearing again. It is currently owned by a museum in New York.
Excuse the photos, I don't take any of my nice cameras out with me riding and the sun was too bright to see the screen on a crappy old Nikon P&S. So here are some snap shots.
