85 110 questions

i got this 85 atc110 a while ago that just needed a carb to get it running, i got an old carb off my atc90 that bolts up to it, i tried to get it going and ii can get it to start for a few seconds with starting fluid, is there anyway i can get away with using this carb for a little bit? or will it not work on the 110?

Don't quote me on this, but I'd think the 90CC carb is too small for the 110. Nontheless, it should still idle and run, so to me it sounds more like an issue of a dirty carb.
