    1990 xr200

We have a little riding spot here thats free and legal nto ride at but is kinda small. My yz and cr500 are just not fun there , so I was looking to get another play bike like a ttr or somthing like that. So a few days ago a guy stops buy to look at a truck I had for sale , saw my toys and told me of this bike. Its all original even the tires , low hour one owner. Runs like day one. Had to give 850 for it so might have gave too mutch but a newer bike simaler with thes hours is proble double. Any way here are a couple pics

I think you did just fine,as you mentioned "a new one is much more". Good deal, even if you had to sell it,youd get your money back.

great man!! i think you did well. looks real nice, and they are bullit proof. looks alot like my 89 xr6! i have been an xr guy since 87 when i got my xr80 brand new!! they are the best woods bike hands down!! reliability is second to none. I just picked up a 200r myself, but its an old xl, and mainly for around town. I know on my 600 they changed alot from 88-91, parts are harder to come by for these yrs. not sure if its the same with the 200's. That one looks to need nothing anyway! i love the orange hondas, very unique!!

unfortunately this has been sitting for 6 yrs. i reverted back to 3, and the fever has been high since! tinkering with the xl i just bought may just kick this back to the forfront though. Hope you enjoy the new ride, should be perfect for what you want it for!

Thanks , its a real hoot to cruise around the little ride spot here. I can see where it would make for a decent tight woods bike as well. I think if another one presented itself I would buy it. My cr500 is the same year so same colors really like the color combo.

awesome little bikes indeed, I have a 94, and an old friend used to have a 86, If I remember right they were almost identical other than the colors. I love XR's too, had a 87 250, I think that one was my favorite.

i started on a 200, and when i went to the 250 it felt like twice the power, full size with a front disc, eventually a rear disc too(not sure what year), a lot more technology in the 250's and up
