Thorpe nailed the top 10 reasons.
Coil to ground, main frame grounds, kill switch is also part of the cdi ground
that makes them run as well as a kill circuit.
Nip the last tiny bit off your plug wire and re screw the cap back on.
250x? sx? if sx, there's a wire near the battery that kinks commonly with swing arm flexion.

maybe a little more info and the trikesylvania section gets TONS more fix it traffic.
Just be careful and hide your trike(s).
