Well this isn't good....I tried to change my oil and this just popped right off..... Should I just buy a used one or is there a good aftermarket option I should look into?

Holy crap. You ought to be glad it didnt pop off going down the road with out you knowing it. That would have been really bad. I would buy a used one if you can find one available. What is it off of?

Personnaly I would repair it,the last one I have found like this,I have weld a piece of aluminium (2 x 2 x 1/2 thick) on the hole and tap new thread in it,no more problem forever.

We were gonna weld it yesterday but my friends TIG wasn't set up for aluminum and I had somewhere to be so I just left it at his house. We might try again today.
