    Pre filter on K&N?

The 350x I bought has a K&N filter on it and I was thinking about getting a pre-filter for it. Anyone used one? Are they worth the money?

I got one for mine because I once had the filter plug up with dry powdery snow. They also catch a lot of dirt before it can get to the main filter. Worth the money.

prefilters are worth their weight in gold.... If you only buy two things for your ride its entire life, make them a prefilter and a case saver. Those two cheap things will save you more money then you ever know.
As for clogging, Ive never had one clog on me.

Definately go with the Outerwear cover. It traps a lot of the larger particles and cuts down on cleaning time too.
