    My new 1986 350x .. paid $1300 in Ontario

I found this machine on Kijiji in Wallaceburg, Ontario and got it for $1300. Almost unheard of in Ontario. The guy had owned it for the last 15 years, saw use maybe 3 times a year. Didn't ride anymore because of a leg he broke that didn't heal well..

The machine has been beautifully maintained mechanically..needs almost nothing that way. Totally ready to ride..clutch is a bit worn and at the end of it's travel, but doesn't slip yet. I'll do it anyway!!

The cosmetics are a bit rough..I ordered all new plastic and a seat cover. Should have it looking great in the next week or so.

All said and done I should be in under $1800..

Love to join the Ontario boys in Ganny for a weekend run soon...

I want to get comfortable with this, then start riding the 250r..age does make us more cautious.

Did you get the one listed on Kijiji a month or so ago for $1700?? I emailed that guy a couple times and never heard back. Was it in decent shape?? $1500 is still a good score..

I guess him not replying was my lucky break..meant I was still looking when the Wallyburg machine showed up..

Ride it on your trail system first... If you don't like them change them.. That tire is pretty rugged..

Yeah being in the sticks does have it's disavantages..not alot of selection with a lot of driving..where are you Taiser? I spent some time in the Kenora/Red Lake district as a younger guy.

Thanks, 'tanks' I just bought some Holeshots this morning on the Rocky Mountain ATV site(I love that place). I kinda had it in mind but Thorpe's suggestion was just the nudge I needed. I guess these Duros will become spares!!

I can't wait to post the after pics when all this stuff arrives!!!
