    Stator question

hi i just bought a new after market stator from ebay
when i got it in the mail it looks abit different than the one i had originally..
My trike is a 110cc honda 83 i do believe,,

anyways im kinda puzzled on where the wire should be soldered on because this new stator has a metal tab in the center of the windings..

Anyone here know where i should solder the wire on the new after market stator?

the picture above is the stator

That metal tab in the middle is where you solder your wire... Dont know why they make them different that way.
I have no faith in those aftermarket stators. They just dont last very long.

Had to clip it down abit it was sticking up to long..that tab would rub in the flywheel..
Anyways thanks for your help.. i thought it was the wrong stator at first by the look of it..
