    225DX help-clueless now

    my 84 DX has a bad problem- here goes
    i start it up(1st pull) runs good let it warm up trailprotrailpro i leave about 5-10 minutes of riding, it backfires really bad and then dies and it wont start back up
    i think it migh be a coil inside on the stator getting hot and makin it die dont know
    i replaced ignition coil, cdi box, rectifier, ignition switch
    ive even switched wiring harness itself
    i havent replace stator or kill switch
    ive cleaned carb
    im clueless now man

    When it died did it have spark?
    Does it have spark now?
    Will it start back up after sitting a while?

    dont know if it had spark when it dies it would start back up about 10% of the time
    i can go out right now a start it 1st pull
    i can let it sit for about an hour and it will start up 1st pull
    and it has a brand new spark plug in it
