What are you calling portwork? Are you just talking of matchporting the intake to the head? Are you speaking of polishing the intake and exhaust after matchporting. Improper porting can make your trike run worse. In my opinion, for what you are doing to your trike, any real fancy porting will not help you at all. I really don't know what you consider high performance electrical components. I'm not even sure of what year 110 you are rebuilding? There is alot more to rebuilding an engine for performance than just throwing some parts at it. You have to make the parts work together harmoniously. The power is in all the little details. What frame are you running? Will you have fresh bearings in the front hub, the steering stem and the rear axle? How about a fresh chain? There's a reason that the whole system is referred to as the "power train". It all has to work together as smoothly as possible. A bad chain or bad bearings can rob you of alot of power. Also I didn't see you mention anything about an exhaust. Tires and sprocket ratios will affect how your engine runs as well. Are you building a torque producing engine or a top revving and speed engine? There are many factors to consider. What are your riding conditions? Best of luck with your build.
