    250ktl

    i have a 85kawasaki 250ktl, is it possible to switch it to a pull start or kick start. it electric rite now. if so could some one please let me know.

    why would you want to switch? I would kill for a electric start on my tri z.

    The electric start is the greatest invention since the HONDA atc.................switching would be pointless, i doubt you can switch it anyway! Dosent it have a backup pull start anyway???

    starter swap

    I have a klt 250 engine sitting out in the shop, and there's no way that I know of to change it to a manual type start. I also agree with the other folks...electric start is best anyway.

    I hate electric start, not reliable enough, what if you leave your lights on somewhere and your battery goes dead? Your pretty much screwed unless you bump start it.
