I recently got all the parts off a 2001 cr 250 and the adapter plate from ESR. i need to know how to wire it all up to my stock wiring harness. Any help would be appriciated. thanks

You will need the cr250 cdi box,and you will lost the light on your 250r if you stator is a stock unit,in this case the stock 250r wiring harness isn't necessary,remove it and install the cr250r wiring

There is no wire harness on the CR250 ignition. the stator, coil, and CDI box plug into each other and thats pretty much it. Theres a wire off the CDI for a kill switch and thats the extent of it.

Thanks for the info appreciate it. i am having a tough time finding a CDI box from a 2001 cr250. A new one is around $225. Anyone know were I might be able to get better deal? Ebay is no luck right now. Thanks again
