best way to plug ice stud holes in a tire?

I just got a real nice Ohtsu front tire for my 86 250R that is about 85% thread. The price was free but the catch is it has about 300 holes from 1" studs in it. Does anyone know of a way to fix or reseal so to speak this many holes? I could swear 20 years ago there was a process called vulcanizing that would melt hot rubber on the inside of a tire. I remember my dropping off my Big Red's tire at the tire shop and waiting a week to get it back. I don't think it would be a good idea to try to plug every hole with tire plugs. Thanks, Karl

I recommend trying Stan's Tire Sealant. Most mountain bike shops carry it.
I've used it in my tubeless ATV tires with multiple punctures and it works great.

Tire Slime. It's cheap, they sell it everywhere, and it works.
