Sand/Dune riding in the South East

I'm looking for a new family vaction spot and I'd like to bring a trike and get in some sand riding where we are there. Is there any beaches in the SE that is close to this kind or riding area? I was thinking GA but didn't find anything on a googkle search. What about Florida or Alabama? It would just be me riding while the wife and kid does the beach thing. I'd like to find a beach resort area that's with in an hours drive from a trike freindly riding area. Also would like to be able to meet up with another member or more to ride with.

about the only "good" sand riding in the southeast is at sandhill sand pits in waycross GA about 1 hour from jacksonville and about 45 mins from my house

not the best pics but that place is awesome everything from sand pits trails mud bogs river riding and swimming and camping as well its located on US 1 just north of waycross
