Big guy, don't get hung up on the size of the machine. The differences between are minimal..man you are a big dude!! Please don't be insulted by this, but another big guy asked the same question a week or two back and he used a line that made me roar with laughter. You are gonna look like 'a gorilla in a clown car'..no matter what.

I'm not a small guy(thought at 6'3 / 250 not as grand as yourself), but I say. Buy, ride, have fun..you are at the 'max capacity' of these machines, but who cares buy a Honda and it won't matter. When you can afford it definitely buy the BR. The 250es utility machine will, I believe, handle you better than any other in exsistence. The 350x though bigger engine isn't a significantly bigger machine, it may not take a guy of your stature quite as gracefully.

Just have fun with it..welcome to the club.

My buddy just called and said I could have his 94 Timberwolf for 250, he dropped the timing chain off it trying to adjust it. I am still going to look for a Yami 225DX or BIg Red 250 but I won't be in any hurry now. My other buddy is suppose to give me a 125m to go along with my TRX125 that I have for the kiddies. Hopefully I can get everything running good and go for a few trail rides.

I may be interested in that trade, do you have pics of your Yamaha? What does it need?

Im back at looking for a 3 wheeler. I checked out my buddies Timberwolf and it didn't look all that great. He decided to try and adjust the timing chain and backed the adjuster out causing the chain to jump a tooth. I don't know if he bent the valves or not but Im afraid to chance buying it. The ATV wasnt in awefull shape but it also needed tires so I decided to keep looking. I still have to go and check out the 200m and there is also a 200 Yami that just went up.
What is the size difference btw the 200 and 225 yamahas? The 225 is the only one that is full suspension, correct?

    Thanks,
You guys have been a great help.
