First time I've seen a V-8 in a Fierro
Have '85 350X-XR500 Hybrid,
Had Nicholson framed: 90/110, 185s, Gen I 500, Gen II 500
Had Bandito Framed 90
Have Vey's Framed 90
Have too many parts
Holy crap..... That thing must be a bullet!
Gunter glieben glauchen globen
The Good:
1985 1/2 Tri-Z - Daily Rider - Pretty much stock ( wink )
1985 1/2 Tri-Z - Custom Black & Gold, Top mount plastic tank, custom 3D printed airbox, Banshee shock
1985 Tri-Z - Rider restore in process
The Bad:
1988 TRX250R with 86 ATC 250R Motor and Swinger - Screamer!
The Ugly:
1993-ish Banshee / 2003 Motor by VSR in Belding, MI - Duner Fun!!
2000-ish Banshee / Motor by RDZ Racing in Fowlerville, MI - Another Duner!
nice, mean looking Yammy Raffa. just my opinion, the plain knobbies look outta place.
that v-8 Fierro reminds me of the one in a town north of me (need to get a pic next show i guess) it's just about like that one, but i want to say his motor is still in the back, because he has one of those pro-stock style scoops mounted on the pass. side of the engine cover on the back and the top sticks up above the roof.
even though i'm a Ford guy, those Chevys look very, very nice.
Is that in Syracuse?

There are some awesome V8 Fiero conversions using everything from SBCs to BBCs to LS6 and Northstars and Supercharged 3.8 V6 - all mounted transversely like the original. If you have some time to kill at work one day, it's worth a Google.
That picture with the 10 bolt under one raises a whole new set of "what's in that thing" questions...

I like that trike, it looks like you got an extended swingarm since the last time I seen it. I have thought about doing something similar....I have a MX400 Yamaha engine just sitting around collecting dust so maybe it will find a home in a trike in the near future.
Nice work on that.
oh ok, thanks Mike. oops sorry Raffa i didn't notice the ice studs.
Hey Raffa, where did you get the white rad shrouds and airbox cover?

seen plenty of v8 conversions in fieros, but never a front conversion with a solid rear axle, Thats alot of work to not gain much at least in my opinion. Good to see you had the 490 out in public for everyone to see.

That is a wild trike! Love the old school decals! Any issues with the fuel pump keeping up with the displacment? (Just noticed you have two tanks. They both feed together?) What about the frame handling the power? I had to repair the welds on my stocker where they cracked around the stem and where the cradle tubes meet the big one up front. My factory welds were awful, can't imagine they could hold up to that beast engine you have.
