I'm getting new tires and wheels for my 250sx and I was wondering if I could go from a 22x11x8 tire to a 24x8x12 tire?

The width is what I'm really worried about
I put 24x8x12 bearclaws on mine and the right side would rub the exhaust pipe. Wheel spacers fixed that tho

Rub the fenders, rub the exhaust on compression..rob your acceleration power also alot more tire roll. The 250sx differential is geared for the 22s..
Not a great choice, I wouldn't do it!!

Ok thanks everyone And no I think i am goingto keep my other tires and rims just incase
Yes, you can go with a 12 inch tire. Just get new wheels with a smaller offset.. so that the tire is further away. If you put them on stock, it will hit your exhaust.. But, I wouldn't go anymore than 23" MAX. A buddy of mine put 25" mud lites on his, and it had 0 power in comparison to the stock 22's. Do yourself a favor and stick with the 22's. IMHO.
