Smile 85 tecate CANT BELIVE THIS!!!

Im rebuilding my first Tecate and have completly torn it down and am having it all recoated and going to go OEM on it. The mechanic who is going through the motor says he cant imagine the motor has more than 10-20+ hours on it. The guy I bought it and a 84 200x is the original owner. got both bikes for $100.00 for both and they were sitting in the back yard and need some TLC. I think I scored huge. Now the next question is do I redo the 200 or sell it? Give me some feed back.......Keeping the Tecate cause I have always wanted one and it is bitchen to find one like this. pics in my profile and will be adding as I go.

Post some pics of your trikes I'd love to see a bike with 10-20 original hours on it.

@ swampthang I have some in my profile album and will be posting more in a bit its front fender and gas tank are sun faded bad but I already scored both to replace them...@ jordan I was thinking the same thing on the 200 my brother qdude79 who is on here said the same and he already has a 200x and just scored a nice 350x. So Im leaning that way besides Tecates are just cool.

I seen the pics in your profile album and thats a hell of a deal for $100. It looks like it has low pro rear fenders on it. If those are the original tires on it with that kind of tread it could be a low hour machine. Its a shame it was outside the sun didnt do that machine any good. Good luck on your project. IDK whats wrong with your 200x but there a fun little bike to play on for no more then you have wrapped up money wise i'd prolly hang onto it for a extra play toy for when friends come over.
