1981 atc 200
Well i picked up a 1981 atc 200 lastnight for a good price. Plastic is great. Seat needs recovered and i think it has a 200x tank on it. They said they were riding it one day and shut it off. When they went back to restart it it would start. First thing i checked the plug and it was dead. Im picking up a pull rope today and a new plug to check and see if im getting fire But i doubt i am. Any opinions on what the problem co.uld be. My first thoughts was coil or stator

well if it shut off and didnt run for a while, better clean the tank and carb out. i have this same wheeler, its actually a very nice machine. no suspension but they still are a decent ride.

It hasnt set for but for a couple weeks the kid shut it off and it wouldnt restart

clean the tank and carb, change the plug and rope, and go from there....also you might wanna go ahead and change the oil for good measure...
