don't bother with them...It's just a lawn mower fuel pump. It will do the job, but a rebuild kit for the stock pump can be had through Parts Unlimited for about $20. Part # MK52. Other than diafragms, nothing realy goes wrong with the stock ones.
SAY IT!!!!!
85 1/2 Tri-Z - The Trail Bike w/Inverts

NYTRO - New York Trike Racing Outlaws - COME GIT SOME!
My understanding is that they DON'T work for our trikes. The one we use flows like 35 gallons per hour VS that one which flows like 10 which will likely idle your trike, but WFO would be an issue (go to Mikuni's home page and look up fuel pumps for the exact numbers). What you will also see on that page is a round pump that flows over 60 gallons per minute. I am curious to know if anyone has adapted that pump to a Tri-Z. By the way rebuilding your stock pump is easy and cheap.
thanx that is cheaper another question is does anyone know of a carb rebuild kit that works for the tri-z

Go to eBay or Amazon and search Mikuni DF-52 Round Fuel Pump Repair Kit. I got mine for $13.99 plus shipping.
thanks i just bought it but im still looking for a carb rebuild kit
Look on the Sudco website to start. How much are you looking to change on the stocker? If it's anything more than a floatbowl gasket and a needle and seat you may want to consiter a 38mm Keihin. I hear the difference is HUGH, but can say myself as mine already had the 38 when I bought it.
I'm running something similar to that. I picked it up at the Yamaha shop after getting the wrong diagrams twice. Apparently it was for a sled. Anyways, it works great, idle to full throttle. Mounting is a different story tho...
well maybe you guys can help me out because i think the problem is that its not getting any gas to the carb
the initial problem was that it was bogging down and wouldnt idle now the damn thing wont start but if i spray starter fluid in to it, it will fire up this is why i was thinking that it could be the pump
has anyone else had this problem because this is becoming a real head scratcher for me
Check any filters and the reeds too
the only other pump I ran is a is a MIC from FTZ it was a high flow pump thet runs GREAT on Alky and Gas!! never a problem... then again for 20 buck you can rebuild a stocker.. and it will last 30 years! I will say I do ever kind of racing and the stock performs great!
