    starting issues

not sure if its getting spark, it was weird, pulled it this morning, fired right up....let it idle, didt mess with the choke or give it any gas, was letting it warm up, after about a minute...it died...and has since to restart...any ideas? i thought this was odd

Start with cleaning your carb, could be junk in the float bowl and it coulda clogged up your jets..

You check your plug? Air filter? Petcock? Just a few things that are easy to overlook and can have a big difference in the way a bike runs..

I cleaned the plug with the .22 wire brush from my gun cleaning kit, and some 800grit sandpaper, came out like new almost, also I was wondering what the gap is supposed to be on my 185s, its running good now, but ive never gapped the plug

.7, chief. although every ngk ive put in mine was already at .7. and lol@ you wire brushing your plug, i scrape mine with a screw driver wipe em off with a rag and my trike runs like new, in 4 years ive replaced the plug in my 185s once, and that was because it backfired and killed the plug.
