Its two parts patience and one part quality paint (i.e. no spray cans)

My Feedback
you can do a fine job with a spray can, the farther you hold it back the finer it goes on, no dripping . I usually hold the can back a foot. im a sand paper and primer kinda guy. tape it up or wrap it in plastic and dont take it off till its all back together is what i would say
The only thing that will hold up is catalyzed paint (automotive paint with hardners or activators like ppg, sikkens or Dupoint products.) its will stand up pretty well from gas or the worse yet brake fluid spilling on it.

what about powder coating, harbor freight has a small kit....
any ideas
The main downside to powder coating is you need an oven big enough to bake your parts, small stuff works ok in a conventional oven, but a frame?
