    18's to 22's speed gain???

Have a 250r that has 18's on looks really nice but would like a little more ground clearence when on the trails and was wondering if I put 22's on how much more speed would you gain?

Im not familar with the r's but it makes a huge differance wiyh my tecates prop about 15mph. if you have an idea of what it runs out at with the 18's you can get an idea with simple math but all tires are differant even though the advertised size they are not the same but you should be able to get an idea

Just go with 20's. Still stable but good ground clearance. Also good low end ans top speed.

Ben's right..maybe as much as 15-18mph on the top end..

I'm with 'tattool'..stay lower than the 22"..the rear end sway is much lower on the lower profile tires.

    20" holeshots are a winner..

Yup, stay away from 22's. I don't like them on anything but especially not on an R, Z, or Tecate.
