ALT50 Front Fender Restore with pics

Alright, to be honest I have done this before and I know that there are a few threads on here to restore fenders already. I took several pictures through out the process and can tell you what I used.

Step one: I scraped the oxidation off the fender.
Step two: I rubbed it down with fine steel wool.
Step three: I dry sanded it with 320 grit, 400 grit, then 1500 grit.
Step four: I wet sanded in the same order as above.
Step five: I took the blue brillo pad and car polish then when over the entire fender.
Step six: I removed the polish and then used the 1500 grit and the polish again.
Step seven: Removed the polish and hit it with Armor All.

It should be easy to guess, but which one is the NOS, and which one is the redone?

I think you need to demonstrate this technique one more time on the trx 70 fenders I have. I mean it could have just been beginners luck, better get these and prove it!!!!!!!

Thanks Kooleo. I see guys painting faded or oxidized plastics all the time and with a little know how and some elbow grease they will look good to great again!

looks good. Got any tricks for a white plastic gas tank that has turned creamy colored from gas?

Sorry there is no bringing those back to my knowledge. Don't paint it, because it will bubble.
