I guess you won't be doing any night riding! LOL Some of the old number plates came with wire ties. Some people made their own number plates. Some were fancy and some were crude but got the job done.

I like the old school maier number plates.
Then I just use 2 angle brackets that I drill, and mount it to my upper tripple tree with 2 bolts where the headlight guard would mount.

In took my headlight off, and just put a kill switch on it, never ride at night here ... cuz it never is dark here in the summer.

I had a friend make one out of aluminum with custom independent crosses, All for free, gotta love good friends, attached with zip ties
