    question on Timing Advancers...

    I have a 79 ATC 110 with Points. I was wondering if you are able to use The two small Springs in the timing advancers from a CDI Advancer on a Points advancer...? they look the same???

    it would be a matter of the spring rate heres a calculator i have used in the past for chevy mechanical advance distributors
