Cool, Thanks Jeff. I'll get down there when the snow melts a bit,...hopefully
i for sure would like to join in. as for riding here in CT i would not advise it, the law enforcement in these parts can be quite a hassle. well it looks like i will be registering up in NH this coming season.![]()

thanks for the info, if i remember correctly you dont need a bill of sale to register in NH correct? just need to have the frame vin, engine serial number and such. i looked it up a lil while back when i registered up in MA. they want like 75$ for the year registration up in NH if i remember right.
It is $75 and a bill of sale is required. If you don't have a bill of sale, you're up shite creek. They're nearly impossible to make while sitting in the parking lot of the store just before you go in to buy the registration.

All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
Believe me, I know. I was born and raised in New Haven. We used to ride on private trails up the street from where I grew up. It was 100% illegal. I heard it’s even worse now, that if the cops catch you, they could fine you up to 1K AND take your bike!!
This is one of the many reasons why I moved to New Hampshire. Been here for over 6 years and never looked back!
Anyway, I'm looking to take the Yamaha out on the trails, but life keeps getting in the way. I'm only looking for a short rip on the trails. Hopefully I'll get out there next weekend.

according to their website a bill of sale is not required, ether way i have one for all of my machine's so i will be alright
but here is a quote from the page i just posted.
"Do I need a title or bill of sale?
The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is the state agency responsible for the registration of Off Highway Recreational Vehicles and snowmobiles. The state of New Hampshire does not title Off Highway Recreational Vehicles or snowmobiles nor does it maintain any records of title or liens on these types of vehicles. A title, bill of sale or previous registration is not required to register an Off Highway Recreational Vehicle or snowmobile."
I will bring a copy of the bill of sales i have anyways when the time comes just for the information aspect tho, it was a pain when i went to register in MA, they would not let me keep the original bill of sale of that i had gotten from the previous owner for my 200s, so i had to make a copy of it to keep for my files. while they got to take my original....think i got it back NOPE!. which i dont think is right...
No bill of sale required in nh, they just want your vin, make and model and of course there $74
In the 11yrs ive been going there thats all they want.
Mass on the other hand, they want a bill of sale so they can tax you on it to feed all the deadbeats you see hangin out on their porches at noon.
i live a stones throw away from new haven, 2 towns over in seymour.... New haven is NOT the place to be riding by anymeans lol. every summer you here horror stories of people riding threw the streets and a big police takedown of the entire group.just this past summer there was a huge sting operation called "fast and furious" yes...it was actually called that.. lol... and they netted quite a few guys on atv's and dirtbikes and impounded / arrested the whole group of guys. these guys were riding up to police cars, egging them on, one article i read even said that a guy on a quad was doing donuts around the cop car to try and get him the cop to chase him..... New haven is rough. tho riding up to a cop in downtown newhaven is in NO way! going to work out for ya
i would love to get out of CT, i grew up in stratford which is right next to bridgeport. seymour is just north of both and it is a hell of alot better than stratford but CT in general is still no fun at all.
I guess I stand corrected about the bill of sale. Every time I've registered up there since '08 I bring a bill of sale in with me, I thought it was a requirement.
