good ride. a little muddy in some spots, but freakin great day. weather was nice enough. my hands are killing me. Craig saved the day (AGAIN). Johnny-on-the-spot with an axel for the rzr. 20 minutes later we were back in action. got in 48 miles. that terrain is as unforgiving as it gets! the steak tip wraps didn't work out as great as i hoped, but you can't have it all, i guess. i only took a couple of pictures. i'll post em up in a bit.

I didnt get any hood pics, the 2 action pics i took in the pit had my sausage fingers in them

That axle swapout was nascar fast, im gonna start carrying a spare. That terrain is just stressful on any machine

Tell Fabio to stop hiding in the trees.....lol

Hey jeff how do like that RZR?

Everyone has one down here in Arizona. I just had to get one myself....... I just bought an 08 for a decent deal - with all the duner upgrades. I learned all about the inferior intake system which im sure will roach the topend eventually. I took one ride in these RZRs and had more fun then I can remember off roadin. I see a new light.

I love the trikes, but this is my new old man ride........ No more sore backs......You can ride em on the streets here too. Desert Life.... $$$$$$$$$$$

Miss the ol rides boys, but don't miss those winters and rocks......lol take care.

    Paul

Paul, i love my rzr most of the time.
But i will say, it is the most expensive offroad toy there is. Theyre huge money to buy, and require more maintenance than any other machine ive ever owned. It eats bushings and ball joints all the time, i basically gave up on the carrier and a-arm bushings as they get loose after just a cpl hard rides.
BUT! It is an absolute BLAST to drive!
I imagine another person behind the wheel would brake less stuff, i drive it like a total a-hole most of the time, but thats the part that makes me smile.

Theyre quirky machines, in time youll know every single inch of that machine.

Friend of mine just went to arizona, said there was rzr's everywhere.
Whats the goin rate down there? If they go cheap maybe we can do some shipping up here and make some $$

yeah jeff the RZR market is crazy down here. Retirees legally drive em just to get coffee at starbucks, they are replacing Quads and Sand Rails down here and I see why. I got this RZR for 7000 with 1400 miles and that was a great price for me as it has everything I wanted for mods and some. a stock engine, but everything else on the car upgraded. it was advertised for 8800... In AZ they like to dicker a lot.

Anything else such as 09 RZR-S 60" models are wanting 10k with some 3000 miles on them.......And new RZR1000s are $20k...Ill buy a near new jeep instead for those prices.

If this gets too expensive to keep running - ill unload it cheap or trade for ski boat next year. For now im lovin the RZR life and learning more and more.

Id say check out PHX craigslist - let me know if you really like something. I could help you out if you need. Its summer here and prices are going down.
