I am coming with a crew for this ride. I got a new guy I met yesterday out of Athol, my buddy Johnbob and my other buddy Eric, who will both be on Polaris go-carts. The new guy I met yesterday will be on my SX, and I am still up in the air as to what I am bringing. Either my 350x or my Polaris, havent decided which yet.
Whats the meet up time? I still need to get reggies for my machines and my buddies will need to get reggies up there somewhere. I am going to be coming through Athol so I need to find a place not too far out of the way to get reggies.

So let me get this straight- You met some dude yesterday, set him up on your SX, and invited him to climb a mountain in NH with you...

So i figured i would pop in and say hi again.. been working my ass off getting the toys ready for the summer of fun.. next year, as it is i have just about everything put back together, well at least toy wise, my tow rig is next.. anyways, I just might be able to bring out my 250r this season for a couple of rides.. woo!
This is one of my new favorite quotes.
I posted this on page 48 of the tread... lol this is the only place with in 15 minutes that I could find that does Reggies!!! Meet up time is 9-9:30 as always I'm assuming.
Called around about Reggies. I don't need one so it doesn't really matter ot me but the place we went last year does not do them or at least the place I think we did them last year. I called richmond 4 corners and they don't do them. 99% sure this is where we went last year. They suggest a couple of places and I called around the closest on I could find that opens early is Bottoms UP 637 New Hampshire rt 12 Fitzwilliam NN 603-585-9073. THey open at 7:30 on Saturdays

Thanks a lot for doing the research Dan.
Hey Mike Just a question. Where you are bringing such a large group of inexperianced riders are you planing on breaking off into you own mini pack? I'm looking to haul some tails through the trails and with all these different people and riding level's I'm not sure how the best way to handle the pack set up? Anybody have any input or Idea's. I think a lot of people have no idea wht they are getting theirselves into an I don't want this to turn into a "death on the mountain" ride because some people are trying ot ride above their ability. Don't mean to offend anyone I just want ot have a good time and don't want to see anyone get hurt. I know if someone crashes into Jeff he may go all mountain man on their ass and I'd like ot try and prevent that. Are all these machines up to shape Mike. Last time I saw your 350 I think it had a broken case at Trike fest??
Fast riders:
1) FabioDriven
2) Jeff
3) Dan
4) Paul
5) Rory
6) Ant
7) DC?
Not so fast Ridrers:
1) Little Dave
2) Big Mike
3) Athol Kid
4) JohnBob
5) Eric
6) Bob the Plumber
7) Furno
8) Tanks?
THere is the potential for over 2 dozen people to be there on Saturday morning so a little planning now might make some more sense. I'm open ot suggestions about how to manage a ride this big but one long procession of 14+ trikes in that hell hole sounds like a recipie for disaster IMHO?? anyone have any ideas ?

I like Dan's idea for sure about the two seperate groups, but there is one slight amendment I'd like to make.
I think all OFS riders should be required to wear pink helmets with a mandatory strobe light attached to it.

all ofs riders and DC.. or at least we should put a strobe on dc's Trike so he don't loose it
Well I am not trying to sound like a dick here either, but I get the feeling that I am not going to feel too welcome with all the people I decided to bring up with me. I know you all like to ride balls out all the time, but that is not the way I ride, I am sorry if there is a problem with that. As for all the machines being up to snuff, but yes they all are up to snuff. They are not shitbox Polaris 4 wheelers. As for the kid I just met, he has been riding a long time, he once rode a big red, has had numerous race quads, etc. He doesnt have anything to ride right now, and I asked him if he would like to ride my SX and he said sure. All these guys have been forewarned about the trail conditions and know what they are doing. If you want us to ride in our own group, so be it, I just thought it would be a more the merrier type situation here.
Again, I am not trying to come off as a dick, but I just didnt expect to find what I just read above about bringing some more people is all.

Not knocking anyone Miguel, just two separate groups. I don't see the problem with that.

my comments guys. these guys open up their yards and parking for us. too many people will many times especially on first visit over extend our welcome. if a big crowd I suggest everyone get legal and go to Pisgah state forest. plenty of legal parking and cruise trails.
the reason we usually go to Richmond is to go deep in the woods, many weren' regged the time. I would say the word is out from trail tendors to patrol for problems from locals or whatever......
idk otherwise.... I'll go wherever.
anyone want an ATC 70 project..... pm me. cheap.
