    Fawk man, 7 amps. Sorry.

The batteries are fine. There's no way they could cause these problems.

I have a sneaking suspicion your draw is coming from the ignition switch itself....Fabs, are you the type to have like 7-10 keys on a ring and then 20lbs of trinkets and sh1t hanging off? Even that notwithstanding Fords are notorious for crappy ignition switches, most famously.... ones that cause fires. IDK the ignition/ turn stalk area is where I'd look.

Also, did you measure the draw at each fuse to at least narrow down what circuit is drawing? My $.02

I'll be moving my shop saturday so I'm out on this ride. Someday...

I am not one of those 20 key bozos Dave, but that's a good question. I tell the people who come in my shop with the 40 lb key rings that they're going to destroy their ignition all the time.

The amperage is fluctuating so much and so randomly that I can't nail it down. It's very sporadic and inconsistent. It's not any one circuit that's causing the problems. It's like a virus that's infected my entire electrical system.

I was thinking it could be the ignition switch as well, but we will see.

spray everything with water and maybe that will help the short stay shorted. Easier to find if it's consistent

It's in the shop now Dan. If he can't do anything with it that'll be the first thing I do.

If you want to drag my trailer that's fine, but I hope you realize how much more driving that is for you. Steve and I were going to have to leave his house by 6 a.m. at the latest to even have any hope of being on time.

Actually, if you don't have a trailer brake controller that ain't gonna work anyway.

Yea I'll have to leave my house at 4:30 but once I get to your house I'm going back to bed and your driving. That trailer and 3 trikeds don't way and my brakes are top niotch on account of that boat I tow, Those surge brakes suck and that set up is 7K so I wouldn't sweat those details. I'll call you tomorrow and we can figure it all out.
