Dan had the issue with his Tecate and it was the anti-slosh doohickey that goes around the main jet in the float bowl. It had slipped off. Very common with these machines. The smoke does make it sound like a crank seal though in your case.

new/used axle coming in hopefully today to fix my bent sprocket hub........ ill go to bike shop and get tire swapped to new rim today as well.

Ill be there... Same place unless everyone is registered then we can go to state parks...

it would be a haul for you bigredridr!! maybe 4 hrs. its about 3.5 from albany. if you guys want to go, i'm fine with 3, if you want to hold off i'm fine with that also.

If small group of legal diehards maybe we hit pisgah (hinsdale/winchester) - its still open but its holiday weekend so might be some patrols. As long as everyone has sticker no issues. We just go find our hiding spots.....something different. its about 15 minutes west of other spot????? Otherwise we hit same place.

My axle came in but im not happy..... its straight but one spline looks twisted. never seen such a thing. i hate used junk...... time for a durablue or something better than 30 year old crap..

Can't say if I can make it or not. I'm scheduled to work but not sure yet, machine is put away, got a 200x front end to put on if I wanna have decent brakes, got more trikes in my way, blah blah blah. So, basically if I show up it would be a miracle.
