I went out yesterday but not at hellhole...some deep snow in spots for sure but just makes it more interesting...it will be melting fast in the next week anyways I bet...they're called ATC's for a reason, lets get out there!

I would like to join you guys this spring or summer. I'm guessing 18 inch fast trekkers won't cut it. What is the minimum tire size you guys recommend for the riding you do? Also, are they full day rides or half days?I'll be riding a stripped down 250r, no coolant over flow, lights or skid plates.

I've never ran anything smaller than a 20 inch tire. I usually run 22 inch on my 350x and on my air fooler. I do run 20 inch on my 85 r though. It does get pretty rough at times but as long as your on your toes 200 will be fine.

These are full day rides. No lights or a skid plate is not a good idea. A bike built for the trail is your best choice.

Throw on a set of 20's if you dont have a pair, i will let you borrow a pair for the day. Skidplates are overated in my book, i dont run them on my r's...in fact i prefer riding without them. I have an extra coolant bottle if you need one, but if you have a good running machine you should be fine. Only other suggestion is 12t frt sprocket to make things easier in the tight stuff.

Cool, lots of yays for saturday the 12th!! Lets put it in stone then!! If sunday works better for you guys speak up! As of now looks like Jeff and I are a definate, with a bunch of you on the fence! Would be nice to get a decent group out! No big rides since Daves crash. Lets do it!!
