Greenhuman, are you saying a CRF230 has some balls for the size of the motor?

All that sounds good for most people. I was thinking of a CBR500 motor. Something thats wild but will work relatively easy without cutting the frame all up and something that I could use that stock gas tank with. The cbr500 would not allow for the stock gas tank but they must be something out there...lol

F22, I'm sorry but you got the wrong idea. For something like the first gen 200x you would need a smaller lighter motor, that tubing just isnt that thick at all. For as radical as you are thinking you would need a custom bent/built chassis or a better suited trike chassis like a 350x (something that already houses a tall motor)
But nine times out of 10 most of the guys on here that build big motor trikes only ride them occasionally , they actually prefer their stock chassis trikes for everday use. Plus something like you are thinking would only be well suited for the dunes.
If you want something bigger, trust me, save up for a 350x. I guarantee you'll love the hell outta it compared to a 200x.
With all the money that would be involved in your type of conversion you could buy whatever you wanted, maybe even two bikes.
If you want some raw arm ripping power go with one of the big 3's 250 two stroke trikes. I myself would recommend an 85-86 ATC250R.
